Aerocom M-System

Inventory

This module is intended for the management of everything related to the spare parts with the very special characteristics and complexity of the aviation parts.

Starting from loading and unloading of the part, the user gets very easily and quickly the availability of the in-stock parts, its position, divided in different stock areas and shelfs, and the traceability in terms of origin and destination of each serialized component.

All the usual movements can be recorded:

  • quotation request from the suppliers

  • purchase order

  • loading with technical acceptance and administrative documentations

  • movement among different stock areas

  • unloading for use on the aircraft

  • reenter after use as unserviceable

  • repair or exchange order

  • unloading for shop visit or exchange

  • reenter as serviceable

The program is also able to manage compatible P/N for when a non-available part is requested by the technical department.

Along to record the received technical document, it is also possible to generate, print, forward and record JAA/EASA Form One, FAA 8130-3 or DOT 24-0078.

A complete management of the costs sustained for the purchase of the parts is provided. The company can know at each stage the costs spent:

  • for each single component

  • in whatever time period

  • for the part in stock at a desired date.

The simple act of recording the part movements in the stock areas, creates automatically a series of powerful lists, like:

  • parts in stock

  • inventory divided for stock area/shelf

  • parts coming from a wanted supplier or in a certain time frame

  • parts unloaded towards an aircraft, or sold to a client, or sent for repair to a supplier

  • orders sent to a supplier, or sent with AOG priority

  • movements of parts in a time frame, or from/to a stock area

  • parts under minimum stock

  • parts on order

  • parts on maintenance

  • parts to send for exchange

  • expiries due to shelf life or in-stock inspection

  • expiries of warranties

The use of bar code is provided to speed-up the recording of the parts.
